Q. What requirements are there on my end to run the software?
A. All that is required on your end is a broadband internet connection. Our software is web-based so you will access it over the internet, which means you can conduct business anytime, anywhere in the world. This saves you thousands of dollars on expensive servers and equipment that most Point of Sale systems require.
Q. What happens if my internet connection goes down?
A. You will still be able to ring up sales. The software has procedures for your store to follow in the event your internet service goes down. Even an average ISP is up 99% of the time. Many stores have a 2nd internet connection active at all times to ensure a redundant, fail-proof backup plan.
Q. How reliable are your servers?
A. Our web-based software is delivered by powerful, fully redundant servers in different geographic regions across the US. If one of the servers go down, we're still up and running like normal.
Q. There's a feature I'm looking for that your software doesn't offer.
A. Our software team can add features within hours of your request, depending on the complexity. Just email us at support @ cpuretailpro.com to discuss your ideas and outline exactly what feature you would like added.
Q. Can I just subscribe to one portion of the software, like the backend retail software only?
A. You can use just the backend portion if you choose, but the CPU Retail Pro Suite software comprises both the SalesPro website and StoreManager retail software all integrated into one and cannot be separated.
Q. How am I billed?
A. If, after the 3 month trial period, you are pleased with the results of the software, you will be prompted for payment information. The minimum subscription fee is $10 a month which covers stores grossing up to $19,999 a month in sales. (The monthly subscription fee is calculated based on $10 for every $10,000 in average monthly gross sales. For example, if your store does $39,000/mo in sales, your fee will be $30/month.)
Q. Are there any long-term contracts to sign?
A. No. Your service is month-to-month, so there are no contracts to sign. You may cancel at any time.
Q. Can I download my company's data anytime I want?
A. Yes, in the backend StoreManager software (under Admin), you can download your data file at any time to make your own backups. We also perform daily offsite backups of all your data.
Q. How long does it take to set up my company under the new software?
A. The software has a Setup Wizard that will walk you through step-by-step ensuring a smooth transition. Depending on what size business you have, it could take up to an hour or more to key in just your inventory information. Some of the items you will need to have available are:

Q. I already have a domain name and/or a website. How should I transition to the new ecommerce website?
A. If you already own your own domain name, we can host it on our servers. That way your new website will be www.yourdomain.com instead of www.cpu.com/yourcompany. We will give you our DNS addresses that you will need to provide to your Domain Name Registrar. If you already have a website and want to continue using it, you could place a link on your website that reads something like "Order Online" or "View Real-time Inventory" and then link to your new ecommerce website.
