Good value for those of us still stuck in Dial-up Land. I run SuSE 11.0 (linux) and the OS recognized the modem as soon as I plugged it in. Since this version of linux no longer support winmodems, I had no choice but to find a controller based alternative.My only pet peeve, and it's a small one, is that it has no reset. I can live with this, as I've only had to manually reset (unplug and replug) once since I installed this modem the first part of Nov. '08.

this modem works better than the internal one in my MacMini. It's also nice and small. The damn thing could use a reset button. I'd be pissed if I didn't have it jacked into a usb hub to facilitate unjacking it to reset without damaging the jacks on my mini.
