I purchased two of these shortly after Christmas when I received my Acer Netbook. They are awesome little modems. We only have access to dial-up, and have a very noisy phone line. My internal modems would be lucky to connect at 32.4 and if you were real lucky maybe 38. Since using this little baby I never connect under 42 and average is 46. My daughter uses the other one on her desktop and it works great there as well. We have connected as high as 49! Easy enough to carry with me as well. Easy installation, works great, small, inexpensive, what more could you ask for?
