Well, this modem works fine on Vistax64 which is most important. However, the picture is wrong. This modem does not have a built-in speaker and it is a pure and simple soft modem. Not a voice one, definitely.

I bought this modem in the hope I could fix my fax problems at home. Although the hardware seems sound the software is another story. The included bundle with Phone Tools is so outdated that it renders the features of the modem useless. As a consumer why do I have to buy TP software just to use the features on board. Using Windows Vista - Software on Trendnet's website does not work. Hello?? Is anyone watching at Trendnet?

I bought this for my system but it is DOA and the 2nd RMA received still have problem dialing and installing. Kind of frustrated of this modem.
