The Tabletop Ultra2 SCSI DAT72 Tape Drive from Quantum delivers compressed capacities of 72GB with backup speeds of up to 25.2GB/hr. The Quantum "Backup Ready" certified solutions allow you to go from boxtobackup in minutes with the Quantum DAT 72 tape drive and Backup Exec QuickStart software. You can connect this Tape Drive directly to internal SATA or USB ports on many popular servers. The tape drive is Backwardcompatible with DDS3 and DDS4 technology which allows access to your old data and also makes upgrades easy. For reliability the Tape Drive comes with protection features such as TapeShield and SmartShield which help protect your data and media.
