Corrected the problem of my old modem losing the connection at the most inopportune times. No faster than my old modem but a great value for the money. Arrived the day after I ordered it. Installed and working in less than five minutes.

I have used several modems over the years and this one is just run of the mill. My old Pctel 56k would always connect at 56k with torrents averaging speeds of 4.2 kbps. this one for me would never connect faster then 48k with torrents averaging 3.6 kbps.

Installed this in a freshly built PC after two modems I had laying around wouldn't work. It worked on the first try. Good modem and happy customer.
