It is based on the new Intel 5520 chipset and will accept up to 2 Intel Xeon 5500 series processors with 2 or 4 cores each. To support all the processing power, it pre-installs 4GBs of DDR3 memory and will allow up to 144GB DDR3 Registered or 24GB DDR3 unbuffered system memory to be installed to keep up with your business growth. The server supports either SAS hard drives for performance or lower cost SATA hard drives for capacity, making storage more reliable, versatile, and affordable than ever. Advanced RAID 0/1/10/5/6 protection takes high availability to HDD efficiency. Integrated dual gigabit Ethernet provides increased network throughput and efficiency.
