Pros: Memory, Input/Output compatibility, Wireless card, Display resolution, Screen size<BR>Cons: Storage, Display performance, Weight, Battery, Included Software The X301 replaced my old X31. The X301 is lighter, has a larger screen, and a touch pad mouse. It is a real improvement over the X31. The solid state hard drive is limiting, so I added an external USB drive, 250 GB, from Toshiba. The entire system is still quite easily portable, and in fact travels in the case I used for my old X31. The X301 was shipped with Windows Vista. This refused to work with our wireless LAN, so we replaced the Vista OS with Windows XP; and it works fine now.
