The Benchmark for Laptops

Pros:

Memory, Storage, Keyboard/peripherals, Display resolution, Screen size, Display performance, Bluetooth, Weight, Durability, Support, Security Features, Build Quality
Cons: Battery

I researched several brands of laptops having become a convert after using one for work. Lenvo offered the most value for the money. Their laptops are workhorses, I used my work laptops (Lenovo T60 & T64) for 5 years, about 8-10 hours a day. This influenced my final decision to purchase the SL500 for my personl/business computing needs. Having used it for 6 months I am statisfied that I made the right decision. This is a solid computer with light weight and easy portability. My favorite feature is the center mouse button exclusive to Lenovo.

ThinkPad SL-500 - Great machine!

Pros:

Processor, Memory, Storage, Input/Output compatibility, Keyboard/peripherals, Wireless card, Display resolution, Screen size, Display performance, Video card, Durability, Build Quality
Cons: Bluetooth, Weight, Included Software, Warranty, Security Features

One of my hobbies is building desktop computers, so I know a good machine when I see one. I bought the ThinkPad SL-500 as a gift for someone else, but have had several occasions to use it myself. I found it to be well constructed, and extremely easy to use, with multiple input devices(keyboard, stick, glidepad), a very good WiFi system, and a powerful processor. I have previously owned three Fujitsu notebooks and recently bought an ACER for the same money that turned out not to be as well built or as good looking. I wish I bought another ThinkPad...
