Pros: Processor, Memory, Storage, Wireless card, Display resolution<BR>Cons: Keyboard/peripherals So far the SL500 has been great, very fast and working great. As soon as I received it I replaced the HD with a 7200 RPM model, upgraded the RAM to 4GB and loaded a clean OS on it without all the bloatware that comes with OEM machines. My two gripes are the lack of restoration disks and a spongy cheap keyboard.

The only problem I had with it was the Vista Program and the inability of the clock to remain set. No matter how many times the clock was re-set it, it re-set itself within a weeks time and ran three hours late. That was extremely frustrating.

lenovo thinkpad series are very good in performance and good in look .i think the rough finish would be great then the glass finish on the top.if laptop had same finish as inside that would have looked even great then now.
