Beautiful Laptop

I got my dv6t 2 weeks ago. Expresso Black, 2.4 GHz, 320 GB, 4 GB RAM, Vista 64 bit. Very fast. Great value (with $400 coupon). Before buying this one I had bronze 17" and silver 16". Silver keyboard was realy bad, I couldn't see anything on it. Bronze was better but errow button broke fast. I returned both. This black keyboard is great so far. Screen is good.. clear and sharp picture. Touchpad works well, I like the scroll bar on it. Only one little con: arrows, pg down, up, home and end buttons on keyboard should be normal size. I use them a lot.
Overall it's very nice laptop, size, performance, looks..
It's almost silent when on. Thums up.
Best bang for the buck!!

I received my new dv-6t today in moonlight white. This laptop is great looking, robust, with a rich feature set. I ordered mine with 2.4 Ghz, 4 GB, Windows Ultimate, 512 MB ATI, 250 GB 7200 rpm. For the price I paid (with a $500 coupon), u can't beat it. Wonderful PC. The ONLY thing that does not fit well on the laptop is the cramped keyboard (especially the page up/down, home, end, arrow keys). I don't know why HP decided to include a numpad at the right end of the keyboard layout. It is such a bad design/idea. Bcoz, 90% of the users don't need a numpad in a laptop !!!. So, squeezing a numpad kills the space for useful keys like arrow, home, end, page up/down etc., It is needless to say people need these keys more often (much more often) than a numpad. I hope HP takes this numpad off the keyboard and make the keyboard layout spacious. Other than this one BIG annoying thing, everything else is wonderful. A must buy for a performance user or gamer alike.
Great laptop value

My rating reflects the relative affordability of my model, which came in at $1100 delivered including case and 4GB flash drive. I use it mostly for wireless internet and document or presentation preparation, not gaming. Looks great, nice touch to the mouse pad and the keys, beautiful screen colors and very satisfactory performance. Not the top of the line, obviously, but if the top is what what you want then be prepared to much more money.
