HP Pavilion dv6z Customizable Notebook PC

I have had my laptop for almost a year now and have had zero problems with it. I chose to order the fingerprint log-in which is sometimes a little slow and it takes two or three times of swiping my finger to get the computer to log in that way. Not a huge problem though. Next time I probably wouldn't order this, however. The only problem I've had with the computer is that I should have ordered the CD drive door built in rather than the kind that pops out of the side of the computer. Every time I pick up the computer I accidentally push the button and the CD drive drawer pops out. I didn't order this because of price. Would have done this differently as well. Other than those two things, the computer is awesome and I have been pelased with my purchase all around.

Best computer to buy. I've researched every computer out their and they all don't come close to price and quality that this computer has to offer. Windows 7 is awesome on the dv6. With its wide screen it makes watching movies worth watching. It has an excellent feature where it protects your hard drive. HP Mediasmart has a very sleek interface. The remote that comes with it is good but they can improve on it. For example when I was first assembling it the battery kept on popping up. So I used tape to hold the battery down...and it worked! Overall this laptop is solid. I bought this laptop for college. Even though this laptop is a little bit big it better to protect it by not peeling the wrapper on top of the laptop to prevent less scratches.

I recieved this laptop for a present for Christmas. I have only had it for a few hours and I love it! I really like the Windows 7. The sound quality is amazing. Also the webcam has very good picture quality if you are in a well lit area. The screen size is perfect for me, it has HD so the picture quality is very good. Also the screen doesn't have a very bad glare which is nice when you are in the sun. What else is great about it is that it has a SD card slot and 3 USB ports. It also has two headphone slots which if you want to watch a movie or or listen to music with two people. The computer is very fast. It has 2.2 GHz. And it is very nice because it comes with a numeric keypad. The Windows 7 is great and you can personalize it much more than Vista and XP. Also the way where you can pin items to the task bar is very helpful. The touchpad is really cool because you can lock it while you are typing so you don't click on something you didn't want to. The battery life is exellent. I have the 6-cell battery which lasts for about 4 hours. it also has a 12-cell that lasts for about 8-12 hours. I really like it and I would totally recomend this to a friend. I hope this review was helpful!
