Highly recommend this computer. Lighting fast, great power, and no noise. I originally purchased another brand, returned it and had an HP custom made. Spurge and get the 8G of memory. Worth it. Love the Nvidia card too, and the screen is brilliant. A++ HP on this one.

for the price i got this for it has better hardware than the new macbook pro that retails 2800, windows 7 is not as easy out of the box as mac however you can custom it so much more than mac. if you are looking for performance, this is it. If you are looking for graphics this is it.( i would reccomend to buy a nice 1080p monitor if you plan to use this as a desktop performance. the bluray is amazing quality on this speakers are better and louder than mac, pretty much everything minus the resolution and battery life. however with the money you save on this over a mac you can get a ton more memory an extra monitor the upgrade bluray a printer pretty much anything you need. do not put this in the same price point as the regular macbook, it tops the macbookpro by far in test i have seen and done. some more downsides if you can consider it a downside is the finish is glossy so a fingerprint magnant. seriously i have never been a fan of hp cause i always built my own desktops and have a macbook, but my desktop crashed and found this deal through work so i jumped on it after reading reviews. now if you are looking for a true desktop replacement but dont want to buy a bigger screen go with the dv8, but this has the same hardware minus the screen so keep that in mind. cant go wrong with this

Trust me, My bro has a mac and both computers are great in their own ways, This hp machine runs well and has capacity to outstand any other hp comtuter out there. The screen is big enough to watch movies. Im currently developing programs on this laptop, and this laptop compiles the programs really sufficient and quick. The figure scan is awsome and its not that expensive. If you have money in budget, this may be something to consider. Therefore, This computer is amazing.!
