Very good computer and best bang for the buck

Bought this about 5 months ago....have the 2.66 GHZ, 64 bit, and 4 GB RAM and HD Video w/512GB card etc. Great for the money....not as fast as I thought, but it does the job. The video/monitor is great. I do lots of research on the go and need a large HD screen for comparisons and detailing and this doesnt let me down except for two things that are linked....a very reflective monitor which is bad in bright lights. Part of the problem is you have to keep the computer on high performance, but that will wear down the battery in a hurry if you are doing anything. Even with an extra battery....life is 2 1/2 hrs tops. I am considering upping the ram to 8 gb just to speed it up a bit too as it can be a little slow....but I am being very demanding. Oh...when we got it there was a problem with the fingerprint scanner too, but called and they walked us through a re-load.....so good help desk. I say its great....as long as it lasts 5 years!

Outstanding

This machine has handled everything that I've thrown at it. When you couple that with it's portability and the fact that it was quite a bit less expensive than similar products from other manufacturers, it's a no-brainer. I would highly suggest this laptop to anyone working in a graphical field with a necessity to remain mobile.

Good for Students

As an architecture student, it's important to have a large display and a laptop at a reasonable price. The extra features are a bonus, but for a laptop this size this beats the rest.
