i just received mine 2 days ago, after having some update troubles going from service pack 1 to service pack 2 for Vista home premium. everything is now working great, i love the sound & the large screen is great for movies or playing games online. I've owned 3 hp laptops in the past 18months & to say the least this is the best 1 yet. thanks HP.

I will just say that after owning this notbook for a little over a month, I can say that this is the notebook anyone would want when it comes to power, versatility and elegance. Yes, it costs "mucho dinero" but you get what you pay for when you buy an HP product. I have carefully looked at all the so called negatives mentioned by other reviewers and I cannot agree with any of them. The illuminated keyboard is fantastic, the sound controls are out of this world, and the speed of this demond is just plain increadible! Yes there are some issues with 32 bit software but that has nothing to do with this computer and its top of the line Vista 64 bit operating system. Yes, we now live in a 64 bit world and the software out there better adjust to the new world. If you need a top of the line notebook that can handle anything you throw at it, this is it, if you load it down with most of the features available on it. The service provided was also excellent during the first few days that I needed help in familiarizing myself with the computer and the Vista operating system. Every question I had for customer service was handled to perfection. Needless to say the screen is fantastic and the sound it puts out as a notebook is just the best. The Sold State hard drive is a dream and the auxliary 500Gig come in hand. The Blue Ray drive works flawlessly. AND NO, I DON"T WORK FOR HP OR ANY OF ITS organizations. If you need a notebook which will be usable for the next five or six years, BUY THIS ONE.

Whether its gaming or home entertainment this is the perfect laptop. The display is amazing and the speakers are even better. Only Downside is that the webcam comes with no picture taking software :/
