If you are looking for the best of all worlds (decent mobilty, power and performance and big screen experience) all in a laptop form factor stop right here and order today! The quality on this laptop is unsurpassed by any other in it's class. Rich in design and in luxury it deliveres some of the best performace I have ever seen in a laptop. I have owed laptops since 1989 seen em all. This is it! You will marvel at the quality of the HD 1080p crystal clear display with true 16:9 aspect ratio. Put head phones on and you are at the movie theatre with supurb surround sound quality. I equipped mine with a quad core intel processor with the idea of scalabilty as software needs for processor power increase. This thing simply screams! Boot speed is above average and applications open lightening fast. I have 4 GB of DDR3 ram and a full 1 GB of dedicated Video ram. I do a great deal of work at night and must work in lowlight conditions. The back lit keyboard is absolutely stunning and has become a neccessity. It works great!!!! Finding a suitable Case for this was a challenge but as usually HP came thru again and I was able to get a great case made by Targus that handles my mobility needs very well. I purchased it on HPs online shopping tool. Overall you simply cant loose with this machine. Kudos to HP and their design staff. The two fnest Laptop PCs I have owed have been HPs! Well done HP! I spent a decent amount of time researching before making the decision to purchase this machine. I am very pleased with it -- the HDX18T has handled every task I give it, and handled them all with ease and grace. I'm still, 5 months later, discovering features and functions that make my computing easier. It really feels like a computer that is not out-dated as soon as you get it! What's more -- a note about the professionalism of HP -- after I ordered my computer, it arrived with a small scratch. Not only did they take it back, HP built me a brand new machine and expedited it to me! I will continue being a loyal HP customer, not only because its products are Superior, but also because it is a good, professional company.

I just received my new laptop and it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I have a wireless n router and the laptop has wireless n and I can not believe the download speed. It is faster than my desktop. I have just ordered a wireless printer to go with it. I got the laptop with Vista Ultimate w/sp1 and have been plesently supprised. I have had no problems at all with it. So far I have not found anything that won't run on it. I was very impressed with how quickly I recieved the laptop. When I ordered it the build date was 9-17-09 and it was delivered on 9-15-09. Way to go HP
