HP ENVY 15 Customizable Notebook PC

I have just purchused my envy 15 and I have had it for about a week now and it definetly doesnt dissapoint. I'm a college student studying comptuer graphics and this definetly makes the perfect portable power house notebook. Intel's i7 certianly doesnt dissapoint, I'm able to crank out high detailed renderings in a matter of seconds that would normally take a few minutes on my old duel core pc. The heat really isnt an issue, it gets no hotter than any other laptop, and really isnt a pain to rest your palms on at all. The keyboard is very nice and easy to type on, as well as a very sleek design. In my opinion this is one of the top laptops on the market. My only concern is the battery power, it lasts about 1-2 hours depending on what applications you are running, but with the intel i7 processor I can understand why, the processor is definetly worth the sacrifice. With the help of the slimfit battery it last for several more hours. Overall I'm very happy with my Envy and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a powerful computer without sacrificing portability. Nice job HP! Keep up the good work!

I waited months to finally purchase my HP Envy 15 1050nr. In reading the reviews about heat and short battery life I was a bit concerned. Upon receiveing my notebook my initial impression was very positive. Understanding that an I7 processor in very powerful the 6 cell battery lasts 2 hours. Heat is managable and not really and issue on my machine. On a flight to New York the extra 9 cell battery can make it the whole way 5 1/2 to 6 hours but adds a little weight which is usually avoided in your daily routine. For daily use I leave the slim battery at home and the notbook becomes a cool traveller. This is a very powerful performer and handles extended desktop graphics for presentations with multiple programs and screens running concurrently. It's a champion presentation notbook at a better price than a Mac. Two thumbs up HP. I love it and my freinds die when the see it. It's amazing.
