A beautiful laptop, making everyone ENVYous...

This is a superb laptop. It is very thin, fast (5 GB Memory), sturdy, quiet, doesn’t run hot, the screen is amazing (1600 x 900), and the design is very sexy. The only downs are that it doesn’t have a backlit keyboard, the battery life is alright, and that it doesn’t have an optical drive. Other than that, it is by far the best laptop on the market, if you have the money for it! I often bring it to school and when I open the lid, people’s heads start popping up one by one. People come by asking “What laptop is that?”, “Is that your laptop?”, “That’s a very nice laptop!”, but the worst comments I get (Hahaha, just kidding) are “Is that a new MacBook Pro?” and I say “No way, it’s an HP!” I absolutely love this laptop; I am on it all day. It is a beautiful piece of art. I highly recommend this laptop.

Ignore the other reviews.

I have been playing with this for awhile, the keys respond very well, i do not have to retype letters. The battery is amazing and does last. The touchpad works PERFECTLY fine, a lot of people did not read the directions and said it was quirky. You use 2 fingers for scrolling, pinch zoom works perfectly fine. It reads one's fingers to anticipate what gesture your going to use. I have not yet yet to see this break a sweat. Boot is fast, sound is very clear just like the Beats headphones which I own. Need to play with the bass if u want some bass. Screen is vibrant and beautiful, I have the 1600x900 res which is superb. They got rid of the extras, so they are peripherals which is nice, no one uses all that stuff these days, everything is wireless or plug and play (USB). I have the solid state drive which is the best I have experienced from Intel's drives. Photoshop is smooth, still learning Corel's software because I am use to Adobe, which I will get as well. I am a college student for Computer science, computer business and computer 2D & 3D animation. The thinness and strength is a marvel, does weigh around 5lbs with slice battery and super light without the slice battery. Which you will not need the slice all the time unless you have this programmed on high performance or on a longer trip. I am in love with this computer, when I get more money, I want to get the Envy 15 as well for a workstation and just to have both, I do not need the 15 because this one is perfect already but I want it.
any questions just let me know.
