This Machine is awesome.Recommended for everyone... But as Iam from India i brought this from USA....its a big problem for us...HP should introduce this model in India also...so the people of here should take advantage of this lovely machine...which already created a magnificient image in India prior to its release .
I have a brother who has the latest MACs. My kids have the IPod Touch (IPhone without the phone). HP has created a whole new catagory that should be getting as much press as the IPhone, Blackberry Storm etc. I have a Toshiba pen laptop so I have been using pen computing for a while, but this is what I was really looking for. I hate to sound conspiratorial, but come on... this is every bit as revolutionary as the aformentioned products and it is more than a year old.
I have played with this for a year everytime I went into my local Home Depot. This is an awsome home computer... I bought it to replace an old XP computer for my kids for 2008 Christmas. The problem is I can't get them off of it.
The double touching etc. I just hope the apps for this start to take off. It reminds me of what I have been seeing in the demos of Microsoft Surface.
This is sooo cooool. Maybe HP should call it an Apple someting to get the press and respect it desearves.
I have a trading computer with 6 screens and 4 CPUs 5 years old. If I could get 2 or 4 touch screens togther I would replace it in a second.
I am hoping my pen laptop (which you can only use a pen no finger) will breakdown soon so I can replace it with the HP Touchsmart laptop, because this is what I really want in a touch screen laptop.
I really hope HP/Microsoft can really push developing touch apps or make apps more touch friendly, because this really is so much better than anything in the touch area I have seen.
