The Companion 3 Series II from Bose is an easy way to get great stereo sound from your computer. It comes with two magnetically shielded speakers already mounted on their stands and an Acoustimass module. There is also a multifunction control pod with a volume control headphone jack Aux jack and mute button. Plug the Acoustimass module into the stereo out jack on the back of your computer and the speakers into the Acoustimass module and youre ready to enjoy music on your computer in ways you never have before. The satellite speakers are designed specifically to work with the Acoustimass module. The signals that they get from the controller in the Acoustimass module have been tuned by the integrated signal processing and active equalization for true to the original recording sounds at almost any volume level. The compression circuitry minimizes distortion at high volumes so go ahead and turn it up.
