I have owned this product for several years. It is a real help in keeping track of expenses. Especially the thermal printed receipts which tend to fade and become unreadable after a year or so. The ability to search by keyword is also helpful to locate a receipt quickly if you need to return something or have a warranty issue.

I have used this system for several years now. Been through several updates and purchased the 3.0 upgrade that works with Vista.It is constantly being improved and soon version 4 will be out. I plan on upgrading to that as well.It is great to have a copy of the receipts on the computer. As you may notice, most store receipts now are on thermal paper and after a year or two are so faded that you can no longer read them. As a small business owner, I like knowing that I have a permanent copy. You just have to be diligent about scanning the receipts in but it is well worth the effort.Check out the new scanner that will be out in a few weeks. It looks like it will make the task of scanning even easier!

''Mr. Paper Weight''....Yes, Vista is compatible with Neat Receipts ONLY in the 32 bit version as is XP. However, if you are running the 64 bit version you should be able to run another compatible version such as Vista or XP 32 bit in a virtual mode or virtual disk and use Neat Receipts that way!!!I will follow up on this rating after further on job evaluation.I rate this unit with three star categories of value, features and quality as it appears to me as I have yet to test it's performance! For submission requirement I rate performance as average at this point!
