This is an amazing scanner. Apart from other things I'm digitizing my reference books and this does a great job with test and pictues. Graphics give much better results than from aphoto scanner with better resolution. I don't use the included software or side buttons but have my own Abbyy Finereader and other packages. The driver CD wouldn't load but I made a copy which worked. All worked well, and it didn't need te XP patch, since I had to revert back to get it working again. Highly recommended.UPDATE: Still working fine after 3 years! A little dust got in the case but I tape over any joins in the casing to prevent further infiltrations.

This is an incredibly well designed and easy-to-use book scanner. You have to turn the pages, but other than that you just press a button once for each page. The software can automatically flip every other scan for you.
