This is a great scanner when working with photos. This comes packed with Adobe Elements and Epson’s edit software. Only one annoyance, it sounds like a cousin of ''R2-D2'' when scanning. This thing is load with its continuing whirls and beeps. The scan quality is good as expected. If you are okay with a ''loud'' scan process, then this scanner is for you. Otherwise go with ''Visioneer'' instead. Also, buy online instead of buying Direct from the Outlet store off of Route 59,Il. Unless you rather prefer waiting a half of hour in the ''pull-from-warehouse'' line and another hour in the checkout line to pay/pickup. There are plenty of employees standing around without direction, just poor system when buying direct at Tiger Direct.
