It is what it is. An inexpensive scanner. For the price it works great. The unit is quite cheaply built, but again unless you are going to do a ton of scanning or push ups off of it, it will work just fine. I am using it to get all my old pictures and documents to file format and I am pleased with it. It does come with slide attachments and the such, but I haven't used them.
