Adaptec 1225SA RAID Card provides optimum performance and expandability for todays entrylevel and midrange server environments. It delivers a data transfer rates of up to 3 GBps. Incorporated with External Serial ATA eSATA it provides the same performance and features for disk and tape drives outside the PCl with 5X faster performance than USB 2.0 or 1394 connectivity. With twoport PCI Express x1 controller it additionally features Adaptec HostRAID an integrated RAID technology that maximizes system performance and uptime. The Adaptec 1225SA supports up to two 3 GB/s Serial ATA drives Native Command Queuing and offers RAID levels 0 1 and JBOD individual drive. Its 48bit logical block addressing LBA support enables use of disk drives exceeding 137 GB in capacity. This card gives you options by supporting Windows Vista XP 2003 as well as Red Hat Linux SUSE Linux NetWare and SLES.
