The RND4000 from Netgear is a 4bay network storage enclosure that will grow as your needs do. The 4 hot swappable bays support SATA and SATA II hard drives. Add capacity beyond the hard drives with the 3 USB 2.0 ports or attach a printer and let the print server handle your network's print jobs. A 256MB memory module speeds up operations. There are indicator LEDs and a 2 line LCD display to let you monitor status. There is built in support for RAID levels 0 1 and 5. Take advantage of XRAID technology to futureproof your system. Add drives as necessary and swap out smaller drives for larger as your needs increase. XRAID will handle it all automatically no more buying a second enclosure full of drives and transferring all of the data manually. The ReadyNAS NV is also a fully featured media server with UPnP AV and SlimServer support.
