The CLP0296 Silent Boost RX for AMD processors combines ease of installation low noise levels and efficient cooling into an affordable package. The frameless 92mm fan is reversed which helps to reduce noise levels caused by the backpressure. With only an 18dBA noise level the 2200RPM fan moves over 38.7CFM of cooling air through the all copper heatsink with its array of copper convection fins designed with maximum surface area for rapid heat dissipation. A variety of 8cm and 9cm fans can be installed in lieu of the included 92mm fan to optimize the CLP0296 to your needs. Mounting the Silent Boost RX requires no tools courtesy of its easy to use metal clip. It provides whisperquiet cooling for AMD Opteron Athlon 64 Athlon 64 FX and Sempron processors using AMD's 939 754 or AM2 sockets.
